The family suite was spacious and comfortable for our three kids. We appreciated the dairy-free options for breakfast, though it would have been nice if they were clearly displayed.

Beautiful grounds, family-friendly atmosphere, convenient location for local attractions
Rooms suffered from odd smells, cleanliness was lacking especially in common areas!!! Basic amenities needed better attention, especially with disabilities!!! The shower situation should definitely be improved!!!

Perfect retreat for families
This place is tucked away in the woods and it’s so pretty! We had a lovely clean lodge with a hot tub that the kids couldn’t get enough of. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was delish, but I wish they'd had fresh fruit available. Just be ready for a drive to get to the nearest beach.

We had such a lovely family getaway in this picturesque Devon hideaway. The grounds were stunning, with beautiful gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. Our little dog enjoyed the space too! The lake nearby added a nice touch for evening strolls.
In my wife’s opinion, the rooms were a bit cramped for a family. A fridge would have been handy for snacks and drinks.

Had an amazing getaway with friends! The peaceful grounds were perfect for long walks, and we enjoyed dining at the restaurant. The two fishing lakes provided a great spot for some angling. It was excellent value for money and we can’t wait to return for more adventures!
The shower in our room was a little tricky to use due to the outward-opening door. It made for some awkward maneuvering, but the warm water and good flow made up for it.
